June 25, 2026 – Cornerstone Association of REALTORS® (Cornerstone) is pleased to announce that Norfolk County-based REALTOR®, Drew Hemsley, has been appointed Chair of the Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term. Drew is joined by Mississauga-based REALTOR®, Sandra Longden, who was elected as Chair-Elect at a Director’s meeting held following today’s Annual Meeting of Members. 

“I’m honoured to serve as Chair of Cornerstone’s Board of Directors and to work alongside such a dedicated group of leaders from across our regions,” said Drew Hemsley, 2026–2027 Chair of the Board. “As Cornerstone continues to grow, our focus remains on supporting REALTORS® with the tools, advocacy, and professional development they need to serve their clients and communities with confidence.” 

As Chair and Chair-Elect, Drew and Sandra will serve a one-year term. However, in Sandra’s role as Chair-Elect, she will also serve an additional term as an ex-officio Director in accordance with the Association’s Bylaws. 

Cornerstone is also pleased to share the results of the 2026 Board of Directors election, ratified at this morning’s Annual Meeting. The Association welcomes six new Directors to the Board. They will join returning Directors in helping guide Cornerstone’s strategic direction and advance its mission to support members. 

Cornerstone extends its congratulations to the newly elected Directors and thanks all candidates who participated in this year's nomination process and election. The Association also recognizes members who took the time to vote and participate in the Annual Meeting, helping shape the future of the organization.
