Cornerstone organizes a diverse range of events and educational programs for our members. Our objective is to highlight the most pressing contemporary issues honing in on housing, utilizing cutting-edge technology, and emerging trends in the industry.
For 2026, we have planned impactful events to deliver invaluable knowledge on the housing market landscape to our members and the market areas we serve.
Winter Wonders:
Join us for our signature event, Winter Wonders, where 1,600 REALTORS and their families gather each year for networking and celebration.
Introducing New Networking Event | Cornerstone Connections:
We’re excited to launch Cornerstone Connections, a series of networking events in each market area. These events allow members to connect, communicate and come together. We will be hosting three (3) per Cornerstone market areas.
We will host engaging events that unite members, organizations, and stakeholders to address present issues, share valuable resources, and cultivate key relationships.
Introducing New Event | Advocacy Forum Events:
These events connect members with policymakers across Cornerstone’s market areas, focusing on housing initiatives and developmental challenges. We will be hosting two (2) events per Cornerstone market areas.
We encourage members to engage in charitable efforts by fundraising, volunteering, or raising awareness for charitable causes or organizations that align with Conrerstone’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Golf Tournament:
Our second Annual Cornerstone Charity Golf Tournament took place at Rebel Creek Golf Club on September 11, 2025, raising $37,505 for Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region. The event sold out and beyond that, the community still engaged through an auction held online, which helped boost the total donation. We are excited to see this event continue to grow and have scheduled the next tournament for September 10, 2026.
Our Association hosts Broker Meetings, Committee Meetings, and an Annual Membership Meeting to keep members informed and engaged. These gatherings provide opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and participation in key decisions that shape our Association.
Cornerstone not only provides information on the latest industry tools and trends but also offers resources and educational opportunities that empower REALTORS to navigate the evolving challenges of the real estate landscape. In 2025, Cornerstone proudly hosted 64 virtual and 9 in-person educational sessions, covering professional development, technical training, and workshops. These sessions attracted a total of 2,806 unique attendees, with 186 participants joining our in-person workshops.
At Cornerstone, we recognize that true growth and development often begins in the classroom. Our series of in-person workshops delivers valuable, experiential learning opportunities in technology, business growth, industry-standard forms, professionalism, and personal safety. These workshops, including a hands-on self-defense training course, aim to empower participants, equipping them with practical skills and knowledge that drive confidence and success in their professional and personal lives.
